We are a small, custom workroom that recognizes the unique nature of each order. Attention to detail and couture sewing techniques are standards that ensure beautiful results.

Our company was founded in 2004 by Lisa DeVita, a talented artisan who has worked in many fields in design and fabrication including theatrical costumer, milliner,  bridal designer, and of course, home decor professional.  Lisa is a certified Window Treatment Consultant and past Treasurer of the Triangle Chapter WCAA (Window Coverings Association of America). In addition she attends industry conferences and workshops in order to stay sharp and on trend.  Her creative, educated and organized approach to the work is evident in your finished product.

“I love that I am not only dressing windows and creating soft furnishings, but I am bringing an artful quality to the spaces that my clients live in and can enjoy every day,” she says. In addition, Lisa and her team are always ready to tackle unique challenges and have designed textiles, period costumes, and upholstered furniture pieces in order to serve her clients’ needs.

Founded in 2004, DeVita Fabric Arts Studio is led by Lisa DeVita who has 30 years of experience in the sewing, fabric and fashion world.
